Our newspaper is read by residents and visitors in Blanco County (including Blanco, Johnson City, Round Mountain), Hye, Stonewall, Dripping Springs, Spring Branch, Bulverde, and Kendalia.

Our display advertising is sold by the column inch (number of columns wide multiplied by height in inches). Standard ad sizes include: 1/8 page (3 col. X 5 in.), 1/4 page (3 col. X 10.5 in.), 1/2 page (6 col. X 10.5 in.), and Full page (6 col. X 21 in.).

Leaderboard Ad (728px x 90px)
The most visible presence of all online advertising. A leaderboard ad appears at the top of a website front page and appears on all the pages on the site. Leaderboard ads are priced at monthly rates only and include links to take the reader directly to the advertiser's home website.

Rectangle Ad (300px x 250px)
This ad space appears the right side of the website as well as at the end of online newspaper articles. A rectangle ad is seen by readers and site visitors easily and is prominently placed. Rectangle ads are priced at monthly rates only and include links to take the reader directly to the advertiser's home website.

Button Ad (120px x 90px)
A button ad appears the left side of the website and along the bottom of the page. Button ads are priced at monthly rates only and include links to take the reader directly to the advertiser's home website.

Business Directory Ad
A business directory ad appears in a special section of the website, identified throughout to help readers locate services and products in the area. The ad includes a square for a logo or other image, a heading for the listing (such as Painting, Accounting, etc.), business name and contact information, and link to the advertiser's website. Business directory ads are priced weekly.

Classified Advertising
Classifieds appear in a specialized section dedicated to similar products or services. Online classified ads are free.

Policy & Payment return to top

All advertising subject to approval. All advertisements must be bordered. No upside-down ads will be accepted. Position is not guaranteed, but special requests will be adhered to where possible. Not responsible for errors in advertising after first publication.

Payment for display and classified advertising must be in advance, except for those with established accounts. We accept VISA and MasterCard.
