On August 7, 2008, Dairy Queen hosted the Annual Miracle Treat Day, with proceeds going to the Children’s Miracle Network and the Dell Children’s Center in San Antonio.

The event was a huge success thanks to the area citizens and the hardworking employees.

Kitty Brown and her son Clinton Brown, both employees, brought their bright orange ‘83 Olds Cutlass to try to get people to stop in. The Browns, along with Kitty’s husband and her daughter, Heather, are big supporters of the Children’s Miracle Network.

On the weekends, they head to San Antonio where Kitty races the car that they built, and her family is her Pit Crew.

The car must have helped, because Dairy Queen reported an all time high in money raised for this great cause.
