The Blanco County Community Choir will present Handel's Messiah in concert on Friday, December 5 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Johnson City at 8:00 pm and Sunday, December 7 at First Baptist Church in Blanco at 7:00pm.

Soloists are Susan Murray, soprano from Austin; Sherrie Stockman, mezzo from Blanco; Arlis Hiebert, tenor from San Marcos; and Rick Bowen, bass also from San Marcos. A string quartet consisting of Blake, Collin, and Dustin Turner from Bulverde and Basel Sarweh from Kerrville will provide the accompaniment along with Vickie Pautz on harpsichord, Kathi Jones from Johnson City on timpani and Dan Evans from Dripping Springs on trumpet. The choir of 30 singers is co-directed by Beverly Voron and Vickie Pautz.
